Q: Sometimes it seems difficult to be able to pray fervently!
A: Yes, I agree. But, recently I read the account in Luke 11:1-13. The Disciples had asked Jesus to teach them to pray. He gave them the Lord's Prayer and then the parable of a friend going to a neighbor after bedtime to beg some bread to set before a visitor. It was not any eloquence that got his friend out of bed, but his "importunity." The same concept was foremost in the story of the unjust judge. She just kept coming . . . and coming. Selected
